Paladin Oaths

In order to take any abilities within the Paladin class, you must have selected at least 1 Oath. Each oath has an associated series of tenets. A Paladin may possess up to 2 Oaths at a single time. Each Oath grants access to an associated Domain for no XP cost. An Oath may have more then 1 Domain associated with it, if that is the case, pick one of the domains to gain access to when you take the Oath. The Paladin's channeling source must possess the Domain associated with an oath in order for a Paladin to take that oath. If you go against one of tenets of an oath you select, this is called Breaking an Oath. when you Break an Oath, you lose access to the domain associated with that oath and the abilities associated with it for 24 hours. Repeatedly breaking an oath may have greater consequences, especially if the conditions under which the oath was broken were easily avoidable. If you break an oath due to the conflicting tenets of that oath in a given situation, or if whether or not the oath was broken in a given situation is unclear(lying as an Oath of Order paladin) the oath is only broken if the Paladin believes they Broke their Oath

Paladin Blessings

Several Paladin spells have the Blessing type.

A single target may only be effect by 1 Blessing spell per paladin at a single time.

Paladin Smite

Several Paladin spells have the Smite type.

Smite spells add an additional effect to the damage roll of an attack you make, or an additional effect which occurs immediately after or prior to the damage roll of the spell.

All Smite spells that you are going to apply to the attack must be chosen before you resolve any of them.
