You cause nature to trap your foe in place.
After you have hit a target with an attack, but before you have rolled the damage for that attack, you may cast this spell, if you do and there is some form of plant life near to your target, it attempts to Grapple the target after the damage of the attack has been resolved. In order to do so, it uses your Spell Attack bonus multiplied by 2.
If the plant life currently functions as the Dominant grappler, grappling is done on your turn. Grappling in this way does not consume your Action points. If the grappled target ever becomes the dominant grappler the spell immediately ends.
If you possess the Seeding spell upgrade then you may use it when casting Entangling Smite.
