Make a Spell Attack against the Reflex Defence of the target. on a success, they are Restrained for the duration of the spell.
While Restrained in this way, the target may attempt a 1 AP action to make an Athletics Check against the Spell Save DC of the caster. On a success, they are no longer Restrained by this spell.
Upcast to 3: The Area of Effect becomes 6M R. The area affected by the spell becomes Difficult Terrain if there is plant life for this spell to effect.
In addition, whenever someone other then you enters the Area of Effect, and for every full Round they spend inside of it, you make a Spell Attack against them as if you had cast Entangling Roots on them.
