Spell School Focus

You have gained an improved understanding of a specific essence spell school at the cost of your understanding of some of the others.

Choose 1 spell type from the following list
Abjuration
Alteration
Conjuration
Divination
Evocation
Psychediction
Mortifaction

When you cast spells with the chosen type, you reduce the mana cost of those spells by 1. This reduction cannot cause the mana cost of those spells to go below 1

In addition, when calculating the Metamagic cost of spells of the chosen type, reduce the final Metamagic cost by 50%. This reduction is a Competence bonus.

You must then choose 1 or 2 other spell types from that list. If you choose 1 type, increase the mana cost of spells you cast of that type by 2. If you choose 2 types, increase the mana cost of spells of both of those types by 1.

This talent cannot be taken using Auxiliary Arcana
